Acoustique calculation according VDI 2081
Noise generation and noise reduction in air conditioning systems
With this program you can calculate generated noise and attenuation
for components of a air-conditioning system according VDI 2081, July 2001.
We made some simplification for easier use.
For example:
-input started at the noise source and ended in the room
-the cross section mean s a quadratic duct
-all input fields containing common values, but they are changeable
-previous data will be assumed
-the changing of the air volume flow will be calculated as junction
-after calculation you can select fitting Trox attenuator
Calculation according following steps:
Fan
Usually the fan is the main noise source. There you can set the data for the fan.
After pushing the button Calculate The program calculates the sound power level for each mid-band frequency and sets the data into a spreadsheet.
If neccessary, you can change these data.
The input fields:
-air volume flow rate in m3/h
-cross section in m2
-total pressure difference in Pa
-speed in n/min
-kind of fan
The button Collect generates a list, where the components are setted into a spreadsheet.
Air conditioning components
It means all components between the fan and the air openings.
The input fields:
-air volume flow rate in m3/h
-cross section in m2
-length in m
-kind of component
Changing the air volume flow will be interpreted as a junction.
The button Collect adding the calculetd data into a spreadsheet.
Air openings
It means all openings into the room or free fields.
The input fields:
-air volume flow rate in m3/h
-cross section in m2
-kind of opening
-restricter setting
-location of opening
The button Collect adding the calculetd data into a spreadsheet.
Room
The room defines the end of calculation and calculates the transition from the duct to point to measure.
The input fields:
-air volume flow rate in m3/h
-cross section in m2
-location of opening
-radiation angle in °
-room volume in m3
-distance from the opening in m
-no. off equal openings in n
-Reverberation time in s/oct.
-allowed sound pressure level
The button Collect adding the calculetd data into a spreadsheet.
With the button Print you will get printable page.
